Beech off the Hill!

This beech went real good even my lane rolling them down worked out fine, decided that since I was working on the side of a hill I would stick with the 390.




In picture 2910 I left the stump it was rotten, picture 2911 is another beech up the hill that I'll get from the trail up in that area, 2913 is the lane I cleared out for rolling down the rounds and 2917 and 2918 is the beech split.

It is amazing how many beech get rotten in the center.

I was able to get a very large beech around 30inches from my dads. I love beech great pics also. If I have time I will try and get a few pics of what is left of it.

Ours get some kind of fungus. Our forester said to cut them as soon as you see it no matter how small they are as they will never be lumber and tie up a lot of canopy.
