Good morning ,

New to the pellet stove life. My new house came with a AustromFlamm ingetra insert . It has been shutting off after serval hours and the it appears the auger continues to pile on pellets [ I find it in the morning ].

I have cleaned the auger casing as well as behind the heat plates several times . Both fans seem to be working as designed.

Any advice ?

Thanks

Greg

Thanks

Usually the setting I try to leave it set overnight where the word power is written on the dial . I have found if I turn it down to much it will go out also .

Also not sure if this is normal or not but the pellets in the hopper get pretty hot as the day goes on.

Thsnks

Hi,
I have the Rika version of this stove (a little newer).
What I've noticed is,
when I've had issues, they've led back to the gasket on the combustion fan
and possibly the gasket on the low limit switch on same combustion fan housing.
Sounds like that's what you're doing next.
Hope it works for you.

Good evening ,

I did a deep clean , however now the convection fan will not kick on ?

Possible low limit disc issue ?

Thanks

Greg

Is the convection blower a known good?

Yes , it has always kicked on . It seems to run a little slow but since this is my first stove I assumed it was working as designed .

Thanks
Greg

I would change the snap disc for the convection blower then try the stove. You might even try a lil lower degree than what they use. IE: close on rise 140degree, instead use a close on rise 120degree. It will come on a lil sooner and go off a lil later. Lets you get more heat out of the stove than normal.

Good morning ,

I have replaced the convection fan , all gaskets and throughly cleaned the stove .

It is running better but still overheating after about 8 hours .

I am sort of at a loss now ?

Thanks

Greg

Is it popping the high limit snap disc? When you cleaned the stove did you do the stove pipe also?

Yes the high limit switch is popping . I cleaned the fresh air pipe and have cleaned the exhaust pipe several times .

Thanks
Greg

When you replaced the convection blower, is it OEM or aftermarket? Is it putting out the same cfm as the original? Same rpm?

I just took a look at the manual - looks like a very good manual!
I would do some of the combustion blower tests at the end of the manual.
That motor uses a Hall Effect Speed sensor which could be an issue.
Also, the stove has a special air sensor that might cause problems.
I can't see how you could measure the negative pressure, the manual does not mention it.

You need a manometer, to the air nipple for the vac switch (if there isnt any just for that).

If it is a higher cfm blower i would start out changing the high limit snap switch.

Page 34 has the air pressure test. There is a bolt to remove.
You are going to be trying to read VERY low pressures so that could be a problem. I was reading pressures like 0.5" on mine.
