The muscles aren't the problem. The time (and energy) I save splitting with a hydrosplitter will be spent triathlon training. Had I not had an injury that interrupted my training schedule a month or so ago I'd have competed in a Half Iron distance race this last weekend. In fact it's this training that has put me so far behind on firewood!She's right, and she probably likes those muscles too...
Don't do it, stay splitting by hand for as long as your body allows.
