Anyone using a Spirovent for air removal?

I have used Spirovents and the Sparco version with good results.

Have to mention that I made some units out of a 1" tee with those copper scrubbing pads and an air vent on top.
It seemed to work good and I just soldered it in place.
The extended surface is the key. Although the Spirovent innards look cool, I think the Sparco uses a stainless steel
brush inside of it.
