Hey! Sorry if this is really straight forward...

Just moved to a place and can't work out how to turn the gas on with this fireplace (also don't want to do anything wrong!). Anyone mind helping with the pictures of it below?

Thanks,

Jamie

Get a gas tech out to service and inspect it they will be able to tell you.

There likely is a shut-off valve between the fireplace and where the gasline enters the home. Maybe that needs to be opened.
On the other hand, while it may have been closed for simple safety while the home was empty, it could also be closed because there were issues... So as above: if this were my place, I'd have it inspected before letting gas in that thing. It's fire. In your home.

The knob on the right lights your pilot.
Depress the knob to let gas flow to pilot, and rotate to activate sparker.
Will most likely have to be sparked multiple times before pilot lights.

Don't you think it's important to have a completely unknown gas appliance with an unknown install inspected before lighting it?
