Hi all,
We have a Dovre 425 freestanding gas fireplace. The burner has a few cracks and we've been told by fireplace technicians that this can cause CO fumes. I don't understand why, but regardless we are trying to source a new one. Would anyone happen to have parts for a Dovre 425, specifically a burner? Thanks in advance- I've been searching high and low for any info and these parts are no longer manufactured.
Manual for our model:

ALL gas burning appliances give off CO as a byproduct of combustion. Your unit is Direct Vent. If the glass gasket seals & there is RTV applied at all firebox penetrations, there is virtually no chance of CO infiltration in your home. It goes out the vent. Since the burner is no longer manufactured, maybe a high quality welder can repair it. It might be costly, but it’s gonna be cheaper than a new unit. Just my $.02…
