i tried searching on this forum and the iburncorn/pellets boards but found nothing, plenty of reads and reviews about the vacs.
i also wrote an email to Love-Less a few days ago but no response.
I want to know if the brush and crevice attachments are metal like the stock hose end, or made of plastic. Same with the small stove cleaning hose, it appears to be plastic in the pics.
Anyone know for sure?
if they are plastic it probably isnt worth buying because i'd have to let the stove cool down too much to eben use them.

They are plastic, and I do use them on the stove when its still hot. There are some miner burn marks etc on the tips but the attachments for me have been awesome.

I have the attachments for my ash vac. The brush is plastic and is the same
type that goes on my regular house vacuum.

Hose is also plastic with a rubber tip on the end that sticks inside the ash vac hose.
I use the hose all the time for tight spots and cleaning out the ignitor area.

I only clean my stove when it is cool so I don't care that they are plastic.
Way too risky to vac out ash when still hot anyway.

Let me explain what I mean when I say hot. I shut down only once a week (I do scrap during the week when it’s on) and vacuum etc… I don’t wait until its cool I use the attachments as long as the fire as gone out.

man that was fast
thanx for the quick replies

for daily cleanings i used to shut down for approx 20 mins and use a paint brush to wipe the insides and all ash into the ash pan then a shopvac to clean up the little ash that was left
now, with the ash vac i just wait for the flame and all timbers to go out and i vacuum away all the ash
for weekly cleanings i keep it shutdown for 20-30 mins but still using the ash vac has shaved valuable time off my cleanings

i have noticed a little more build up and more rust spots since i changed over, and i would like to use the tools for a more thorough daily cleaning

I also have the plastic attachments for the Love-less hot ash vac.

Have used them daily to clean the stove with no problems. Tried the metal attachment once and did not like it.

Am running with a thermostat, and as soon as the blower fan cuts off at the end of a burn cycle, I use the brush attachment to clean the inner top, back, and sides, use the crevice tool to clean the ash on the bottom and burn pot, and use the long plastic hose attachment to clean tight areas.

Had to reduce the diameter of the stopper on the long hose attachment to get it to fit properly into the vacuum hose. Turned the belt sander on its side, and rotated the black rubber stopper against the running belt, being careful with my finger placement . . . . . .

Do a weekly vacuum of the ash pan. Easier to empty the love-Less than the ash pan. Stove guy suggested that method and I like it.

I have the tool kit for a love-less and HIGHLY recommend it.
I love the brush and the hose. I dont use the crevas (sp?) tool much though.
