I did 40 bags in my '06 grand caravan, it was amazing how the engine didn't seem to be lugged (I am used to driving 4 bangers) but the rear end did seem to be low and came up noticably as it was unloaded. Most of the pellets were in the well in the back but I spead them around otherwise to even out the load. Lucky for me HD is three miles away.
Just for laughs I had them (not HD) try 1 ton of pellets in the back of my ranger (4cyl 2 whl drive short bed) it went right down on the rear axel. ( I know when my truck is at its load limit when the mud flaps touch the road) the bottom 2 inches of the mud flaps were bent on the ground.
