any SE Mass folks want to share 1/2 pallet of NIELS?

ok, SE MASS folks, so I'm thinking of having a pallett delivered to my house. Called them this morning, 349/pal + 55 shipping, that comes to 1.68/log.

we had dibs before, 30 for Free BTUs, 30 for mass_burner, 30 for Carverman, 30 for kingston73. They are coming this way on 12/20 anyway. If its more convenient, we could even have them delivered to someone elses house more centrally located in MA, say closest to Norwood. Ideally, I would only want about 30-60. The rest would be up for garbs at 1.68/log.

Thoughts?
 
I would up my amount to 60 logs, but I'm down on the Souh Coast, so somewhere off of 24 would be a better place for me to pick them up.
 
looking at the map, somewhere in the Bridgewater/Easton area would be ideal. Anyone care to "host" a shipment in that area?

I wish I saw this post a month ago. I've been interested in trying some of these. I'm in Jamestown/Newport, and a drive to Bridgewater isn't all that far.

ok, like I said, the delivery is scheduled to the SS on 12/20. if I can put this together by next mid-week its a no-go.
 
SS = south shore. They didn't tell me what town they were going to, I live in Cohasset, and they said they were delivering "out that way".

I'm going to have to back out of my purchase, my wife had to go on disability and is only getting a partial pay check for the next 6 weeks so we don't have any money to spare now. Sorry, I hope somebody else steps in and makes up for my share.

Not a problem. Hope she gets/feels better. If I can't find someone to host the shipment in a more convenient place by Wednesday, it will fall through anyway.
 
Hey gang, I am happy to join in on the purchase. I can host if it helps. I am in Portsmouth RI. (just south of Fall River)
 
I'm ok with Portsmouth if Tigger and Matt want to do a split. :)
 
Opps typing on a phone.....massburner I can pick up from your place and get the logs for matt and freebtus and then sort it with them.

I was obviously kidding about driving to portsmouth. As i've said before, i'm interested in some, but don't think i need a whole cord of it! I think at last count you had about 30 logs/person, but i think a few backed out.. I'd hate to buy a hundred of them, and find out they dont work for me, but i'm comfortable with 30-ish. If you need a place to take delivery, I could do it at the shop I work at, but it's in Newport (might be a little far for you to come sort things out). I wasn't taking into account that it's the week before the hoilidays when I said I would drive anywhere in the southcoast/southshore/boston area, but i'll still make it work however we can do it. Oh, why do offers like this come at the busiest time of the year? Let me know how you guys wanna work it, PM me, or just reply to the thread
 
ok, looking to get a pallet of NIEL's this year, but only want to keep 1/2 pallet. I mix them with wood, so 120 logs I think will be enough.

sorry, let me be clearer. I'm looking for 1 person to share a whole pallet, so you need to take 120 logs. current price is $200 for the 120.
