Any good dealers in the Washington D.C. area?

I'm shopping for a basic but quality insert for my fireplace. The internet, angies list, and google reviews are terrible for my local dealer, "Woodburners too" since they are under new owners. 1 star averages are not good for me.

There's blazes Fredericksburg, VA that sells Vermont castings and pacific energy.

The Fireplace in Gaithersburg, MD sells Buck

I want a decent stove and not get ripped off or have a terrible install.

Recommendations?

If you are handy this is something that can be done DIY after plenty of reading on here. Make sure your insurance is ok with you installing and if a permit is needed check that as well.

It would be good to have some more info on your install and pictures if you need help.

Give Chase Rice at J.E. Rice Hardware in Manassas a call. I bought my old stove from his father in 1985 and get all of my pipe and stuff from them. Great folks and a large number of stoves on display.

Blazes is a good shop also.

Thanks for the inputs. At this point in my research, I'm leaning towards the Century CW2900 for a budget insert and DIY chimney liner.

If I get it from the recommended online dealer from their website, it's $1250 with the $400 liner included and free shipping.

Fireplace is 36" wide x 27" tall x 23" deep. Width at back is 24". Hearth sticks out 20.5" from face.
