Thank You, Do you know of any places in PA? I have an old Fisher insert at my house in Hawley. It works great, but it's looks are something to be desired. I have searched around online and am coming up blank. I did find a few of the companies listed in your post, but they are a bit far.

Yes. I bought an old Jotul F12 from a guy in Howell NJ, not far from the Philly burbs, who had a shop full of probably 30 stoves. His business was fixing up late model stoves and reselling them, although I don't know how deep he'll go on true antique restoration, as most of the stuff I saw in his shop was only ~20 years old. His name was Frank, and his email in 2012 was woodstoveman(at)optonline.net. If that doesn't work, PM me for his phone and mailing address, which I have but don't want to post publicly.

@Ashful- Thank you for the quick response. I am going to email now. I will let you know how we make out, and PM if necessary.

That will only need wire wheeling if rusty and grease anything that moves. Those antique places are mostly for antique cast iron that requires resealing of joints, broken cast iron replacement parts and grates cast, and re-nickled. Everything on a Fisher Insert can be done in place unless welding is necessary.
