Ram 1500 with an axe...
Minister of Fire
That's what I'm thinking Locust Post, I have a lot of red oak that still needs to be cut down with a chain saw, I have limited time to do my processing, that is why I am opting for buying, I have wood for this year, so I can work liesurly instead of forcing it because of the rental....There is many ways to look at it and in the end if you can afford the 1200 or 1300 which you already said is no problem you won't go wrong with the Huskee. I can tell you I love my 22 t Huskee and after owning it for a couple years now I would not be without. I have rented before and spent many years doing all my splitting with a monster maul. It is really nice to just get it out and spend whatever amount of time I want to on my schedule not someone elses.
