At The Brook

On my way back with the first load of Beech I saw this doe eating and drinking at the Brook. I stopped for 15 minutes and let her eat and drink then she went into the ferns and laid down.



I'm wondering if her fawn is there. Picture 3197 is when she was drinking out of the brook and 3198 is the ferns she went in to.

Nice find. I see alot of deer and turkeys in my back yard during the year. Had a few newcomers this year, a moose and a fox. This was the first time in 18 years of living where i am that ive seen those so close to the house. I love those moments.

Two weeks ago we fished some brook trout from near those frens and a mallard flew out, guess size rules.
