Do you mean the hopper door? If it's not closing tight it could cause intermittent pellet feed. You could try tightening the latches a bit and see if that helps.
The lid switch isn't all that critical, as far as it's operation. Pretty big range of motion that allows it to close it's contacts. As long as the OP hears a slight "click" when shutting the hopper door, I'm pretty certain it's closing the circuit.I looked at the manual for your stove and I see that the lid switch is right up there by the latches so it would be really sensitive if the latches aren't as tight as they should be. Hopefully Mike Holten see's this thread and chimes in.
Dollar bill test is only meant for front door, not hopper door. If the hopper door seems too "loose", tighten the latches as suggested above.....the procedure is listed in the owners manual.
The jumper we wanted to know about was the one on the control board, not in the stat.
Good....now try the settings I mentioned above.I opened the back of the stove up and the bottom of that black piece on the control board (it says thermostat) it has a jumper installed
