Picked up a Warm Morning V-50EMAB space heater. Replaced thermocouple and aluminum pilot line. When it ignites burner, it lights so hard and loud it actually blows out the pilot light. Any ideas why? It seems to be getting worse.

Make sure the burner didn’t move during transport of the heater. Any misalignment between the burner & the burner orifice will cause LP to blow out of the air shutter & puddle below. Once it builds up to a point where it reaches the pilot flame, that entire puddle will ignite at once.

Thanks for the quick reply. The burner is mounted solid and cannot be moved or even wiggled. The pilot light burner actually faces away from the burner but is also mounted solid. Looks to me like it should at least point at the burner, or the flame should hang over it . Any ideas on where to find a manual?

Disassembled stove and found about 30% of the burner orifices were plugged in the middle of the burner, so the gas was flowing out the ends and flowing back over the center until it reached the pilot light causing sudden igniton of all the burners at once. Cleaned out all orifices and it lights light a dream.
