I've got 2 - 80% Douglas Fir (God's own firewood) 20% bigleaf maple.

Tomorrow I'll have 3 assuming my evil master plan comes off without too much friction.

I'll let you know when I'm done for this year.

14 cord stacked under a roof now of which 6 or so will be consumed this year, 6 in the heap and another 3 left to split. Good luck with the evil master plan.

I have 4 cord in my basement for next year and 2 outside . I'm all set until fall 2011.

A bunch of mixed hardwoods.......enough wood split and stacked in my yard for 2009/2010 - 2010/2011.
I have 2 more trees to fell, a good sized White Ash and a Big Cherry. A buddie of mine said he'd help me sometime in late Jan.

same here

this was the first year i started working on "years ahead"

so i finished this year 8 1/2 full cord and have two cord bucked up but not split

figure i'll use three more by the time we're done and then keep at it in the spring

5 cord of red oak that's been sitting for 2 years so far, looking good in the snow, waiting for next year....

5 cord of chestnut oak that's been sitting for 1 year so far, looking good in the snow, waiting for 2 years from now....

5 cord of log length, either red, chestnut, or white oak, to be delivered in march for workup....

1.5 cord of various stuff, locust, cherry, and ash, ready to burn anytime,

1.5 cord of various stuff, locust, cherry, ash, and walnut on the back porch ready for the "grim reaper" right now!

3.5 cords of 2 year old Red and White Oak split and stacked in the woodshed for 2010/11 and a huge heap hausen of Oak splits waiting for wood shed space for 2011/12.

I'll have about 5-6 left over after this year. That should be enough for another 2 years. Mostly Red Oak, Silver Maple, Locust.

I can't compare to the big boys on this list given that I don't burn full-time, but...I cut, split and stacked 10 cords of wood this year and don't have much to show for it since most went to the father-in-law.

I have 2 cords of bitternut hickory covered in an open meadow since last May. Should be ready for 2010-2011 heating season. Wood dries fast in an open meadow.
I have 1 cord of sugar maple with a little cherry mixed in covered near my house or in my garage. Should be ready for 2010-2011 heating season.
I'll have ~3/4 cord of mixed pine and colorado blue spruce that is set aside for 2010-2011 heating season.

I'm burning a mix of cherry, sugar maple, ash, pine and colorado blue spruce this year. First year I burned about 1-1/2 cords, and I'll probably burn 1-1/2 cords this year. That seemed to take my oil demand down about 200 gallons last year, and would mean that I am officially two years ahead, but looking forward to being two years ahead at a rate of 3-1/2 cords a year (I really want to know that if the @#$ really hits the fan, I can heat my house without oil).

IF I counted my father-in-law's stash in all of this, we have him halfway set for next year, no small achievement since he burns 5 cords per year and has never been a year ahead before on wood. A similar effort next year should put him a year ahead and hopefully burning dry wood all winter for maybe the first time in his life.

It will be difficult for me to tell until some more wood leaves here next week but we are way down from the 24 cords we started with this fall. Just a wild guess with the wood I've cut this month, we probably have 19 cords left; maybe more, maybe less. This is best answered at the end of the heating season or perhaps on the first day of Spring.

I have five for next year. I usually have about 2/3's cord left over from that amount every year, so I'm hoping for 5 2/3's  Following years wood got started this summer/fall, life got in the way, then we got a snow dump. Still trying to get that cleaned up, since I'd like to be able to go finish those stacks this winter. Looks like that may not happen until next spring.

Ouch
No need for "Ouch". I have this year, next year, and probably all of the year after that all laid up. I know I have more than enough for next year but how much I will have all depends on how much I burn this year.

bingo. I do have a little splitting, (probably noodling,) to do, but I will have something left over. Just not sure how much.

I don't have to cut any wood until 2013 unless I want to. My Stihl 044 tells me that it wants to go cut all of the time lately. So I just keep on stacking it up.

20+ cord and still piling, may have the exra time to just stack and split this spring. Never been futher ahead.

4 for next and about 30 splits short of 4 for the year after but just had a big branch fall off of our silver maple in the back so that space will soon be more than filled.

12 face cord(most is cherry) for next year, plus 2 face cord of basswood and popple for the shoulder season.

about 2.5 cords of Doug Fir that will be ready for next year, about 3/4 cord of Birch that will be ready this Feb that I am hoping I do not have to get into this season

I should have around 10 on hand after this season, I have about 14 currently. This is my first season so I plan to cut accordingly moving forward to stay 3 years ahead. I figure I should use 4-5 a year, won't know for sure until the season is over.

Dennis, the first day of spring in your parts comes around Memorial Day, from what I hear.

I should have 12+ cords for next years, of white and red oak, hard maple, soft maple, choke cherry, white and yello birch, and some yellow tulip.

KC

I have around 14 cords of sugar and silver maple with some ash, elm etc thrown in stored mostly at my in-laws farm a bit south of me. I should be good for at least the next 2 1/2 years figuring I burn 5 cord a year.
