Hello

We removed our Buck Stove insert from our brick fireplace few months ago, for cleaning and a inspection.
Everything looked very nice for being in there for 10+ years

I am going to re install it, and i was wondering what would be best to seal it off to the exposed brick
There is a 4" Black sheet metal surround that covers the brick, what can i use that will seal it off nicely.

Fire caulk wouldnt be good, the gaps are to large

Insulation would work, but i cant find a insulation with 1 side sticky to attach to the surround.
also what type of insulation should i look for

Thanks
Don

I would use this. You can also seal off the damper area where your liner passes thru with rock wool.
