I had picked up one ton of the Dejnos softwood blend just before Christmas for $253.50 from Fleet Farm. They are just about as good as the Uncle Jed's softwood. Good heat, just a little more ash. Only had room for 1 ton or I would have gotten more.

I was at my local Menards in Johnson Creek, Wis., the other day. They had Somersets for less than $5 a bag. That probably includes their 11% store credit; I'm stuffed to the gills with Peak softwoods so I didn't look that closely. Still, a decent deal for this time of year.
