Recently had a Regency Ci2700 installed. Looking for some recommendations on the placement of the outlet for the blower.

The chimney is in the center of the home and does not about/connect with any walls. The cord for the blower comes out the right side of the insert into a space (see attached pic) where the living room connects to the kitchen - not ideal placement. I had thought about running the cord from where it leaves the insert on the right side back to the left side, where the outlet would be more hidden, but the installer recommended against that.

Underneath the floor is the lower level of a raised ranch. Underneath and towards the back side of the chimney would be the utility room. Any recommendations on placement here before I have an electrician out? Thanks!

Is the back side the same stone?

Yes, same stone. About 8 feet by maybe 2.5ft (not including the hearth). Backside opens to kitchen and dining room. There's a pizza oven built in to the backside right above where the tile meets the wood.

I don’t have any good suggestions. I ran metal conduit to a surface mount box in the side. It’s not pretty but there is always something in front of it.

So I would say run up from the bottom to a surface mount box. Place a plant or shelf there to hide it.

Floor flush mount is also an option
