Thats what I was going to say, looking at the two tone wood grain looks like hickory.

1. white oak
2. birch
3. hickory

white oak
birch
poplar

I guess the White Oak was the easy one. :)

Ok so some say Beech and some say Birch. If I had to pick one I would say Beech. To you birch guys what kind of Birch looks like that? This wood is just as heavy as the White Oak FYI.

And the third is the mystery wood! Its definitely not Poplar. But I really am not sure what it is.......

1 - White Oak

2 - Beech not Birch

3 - Maple (not sure which)

oak, beech ( although the beech here bark is a bit smoother looking, but the inside and the way the bark peels looks like beech) and some kind of poplar for #3 ?

I know #3 is NOT any type of Maple nor Poplar......

If #3 is Hickory, what type of Hickory would it be? I know not Shagbark.

Quercus alba, Fagus grandifolia, Carya glabra

I just didn't want to repeat what has already been said.

Yes positive. I know all types of maple very well. I also know its not Tulip Poplar either. Positive on that.
