Wood ID Please

The wood is an apple cider color in the center, very stinky, heavy and splits stringy. Not sure what it is???

Can't see the bark very well but looks like it might be Honey Locust

I guess it's all in one's tastes . . . I kind of like the smell of apple . . . and cherry . . . and cedar . . . of course all wood to me smells like money in the bank.
