I am having to replace a Radiance Vermont Casting gas stove after 20 years. Looking at Jotul, Regency, possibly another VC. Warranty coverage for electrical and everything except Cast Iron is two years - extremely limited for such an expensive product. Are there any better warranties out there for DV gas stove? Would appreciate any thoughts on why this is so?

Can't answer your question directly, but if you get the millivolt standing pilot model there really isn't much electrical components to go bad. Jotul and regency use sit components which are readily available and really don't fail often unless they get wet or you experience a lightning strike. The regency warranty overall is better than Jotul.
