I just purchased a medium non cat Duthch West today and compared the stats on the pamphlet from the dealer today compared to the stats on line from Vermont Castings and they dont match on everything. It's as if the online info mixed the small and medium stoves together. The pamphlet info for the medium was a little more impressive, so I guess I'm a little worried that it may not be quite enough and dissapointed. I put a call in to the sales person at the dealer. Is the square area rating more important that the btu's? The square area matched on both things but the btu's went down from 52000 to 40000 on line, sounds significant to me.
