Looking for some information on this stove. We are thinking of moving it to our down stairs family room. However it is a fireplace insert. My question is can we convert this stove to a free standing? It a great stove and works well. WE just think it will heat the house better being down stairs.

We are also looking to move our propane stove to where the pellet stove resides. They both are being piped through the chimney. Whitfield Advantage II-T Classic WP2

No luck on a conversion for the Whit. Company has been bought and sold twice in as many years too. Cannot vent both stoves in one chimney. That looks to be a Hearthstone stove. Very nice. Whits can be found on CL often for around $500. Easy to maintain and repair if ever necessary and the bulk of the parts are off of the shelf.
