Where to attach the snap switch on Hearthstone Bristol DX?

Hi All,

I'd appreciate some help with reattaching the snap switch on my Hearthstone Bristol DX. The fan stopped blowing and I noticed that the snap thingie -- which I believe senses temperature to activate the blower -- isn't attached to anything (see pic below).

I did check out this link on how switches work (as advised in this other thread). I think the snap thingie is supposed to be attached to a ceramic disk (like this or this), but I don't see anything that looks like that underneath my stove.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Yeh that is definitely for a battery. But right behind that it looks like your FCM, Fan Control Module, is shut off. Check that for power before anything else.

Well, this is embarrassing. It was the fan controller -- I must have knocked the switch to 'off' while vacuuming.
