i have mine set at 3-3 rite now but theres some 20 degree weather in the forcast so its the real first test for my stove. should i turn it up or just wait and see? phil

Its 29 here and my stove is set to 3-9. my basement is 67 and upstairs is 74.

Id wait and see how it goes and change if necessary.

There are too many variables here for anyone to be able to accurately answer this, its a trial and error process depending on size of your house, size (btu rating) of your stove, type of pellets used (btu out put of fuel) position of stove in the house, insulation value of house....etc. My house is pretty tight with new high efficiency windows, its 1800' and I leave it turned on level 2 of 6 and it does fine untill the temp gets below about 20* and then I set it to 3 of 6.
