Ok ,just wanted to see if my avatar photo uploaded and to see if I can upload photos . Tried these pellets last two days picked up from Big Y supermarket they sell for 197.00 a ton .Im trying a few test bags first before investing in a ton. Not sure if I would buy these as Im hoping to purchase a ton of softwood for colder weather to come. They produce a lot of heat with medium amount of ash content in my stove.Feed rate is set to five for a more complete burn, ash is white in color and not too heavy. Im new to pellets and try any new brand I come across to test. My wife thinks Im nuts as Ive become obsessed with this stove trying to read all I can and constently tinkering with it.So far tried six different brands of pellets this season.

I can barely see that pic but it looks like Inferno pellets. I would suggest NOT buying a ton of that crap. I bought a few bags at Lowes and returned all but the one bag I burned due to barely any heat.

Yea they are not the best Ive used this year or the worst , but I wanted to put this out for people to see and get feed back. For the price I thought they were ok maybey for shoulder season or for a couple of cheap bags as a fill in. Im trying to work on picture attachments I need to increase pixel size to get bigger thumnail pic I think.

Worst pellets on the market by far, from what I've seen everyone on here say. I'm just curious as to what you used that was worse than those?

Part of me wishes Infernos were available here so I could buy a bag to see how bad they really are. The other part of me says that 99% of people here say they're junk, so I'd be better served spending those dollars on beer.

THIS!

i've also never used them, but heard they are garbage.

I went online researching these pellets and there were more bad reviews than good . Pellets are made in RI and some of the earlier batches got bad reviews. It's been warm here the last couple of days that I've burned them so maybe that's why there doing ok. Just checked my stove it's running fine and ash build up isn't bad ,heat is fine. I would not invest in a ton of these at this point but would buy a couple more bags when grocery shopping for the price to verify results. Worst pellets I've burned this year so far were Trebio's a hardwood pellet from Canada they produced a lot of heavy ash with big thick clinkers , and after three bags I had to clean stove it was a mess.

Those sound a lot like the Michigan wood pellets I had the misfortune of picking up at Menards earlier this season. At least I only bought 10 bags.

While I have never burned Infernos, it sounds like about any other pellet you choose should be better. I guess this makes your choice of next pellet brand pretty easy. I went to about 10 different places in the last 2 days before I finally found a brand I was looking for. I settled on Somerset. good luck with your choice and merry x-mas

Hello

They do not sell them around here anymore!!

I like the colors and the name and the pretty advertisement though!
