Wow good luck, if you google it you only find obituaries of people who worked there at one time...... Syncromatic was the manufacturer, out of Watertown. and so ends the history lesson.

Same here. I have never seen less stove information come up on Google--basically nothing. Did you spell the name right? Did they make like, one stove?

I spelled it right, I think they were one of those companies that made stoves during the 70s oil crisis. Nothing, nadda, zip, zilch, even after trying a second time.

Well, I found patent information and your stove was built probably before 1954. Business open in 1945 and became Watertown Metal Products in 1954.

I'd like you to think that :) - but it was just variables of a regular google search - sometimes you have to be 'creative' with how you research an item/issue. I think I just put in the company name and the city - weeding through the results I posted items I found pertinent. :)

Also, suffering from insomnia due to antibiotics/etc. I find I have to keep the mind going (researching the aforementioned company on the 'net) and eventually I will wear myself out so as to get some sleep. :)

Hi Shari,

:)

Yeah, I thought I used the same search technique, but maybe I misspelled or didn't look through enough results--I seemed to get garbage really fast.

Understood about wearing yourself out--take a look at this post, and the one after it, for examples of my mental iso-metrics:

I hope you feel better soon, and sleep well. Happy Holidaze!
