I dont get it. Can somebody explain that to me, I think I can have the same saw for about $500 at my local dealer (broken link removed to http://cgi.ebay.com/Husqvarna-346XP-16-Professional-Rated-Chain-Saw-New-/250793137167?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item3a646f940f)

Wow. Maybe the same model isnt sold in Australia, thats why bids are so fierce.

"THIS IS GENIUNE HUSQVARNA SAW NOT A CHINESE COPY SO BID WITH CONFIDENTS"

Maybe "confidents" are more valuable than Aussie dollars?

I believe saws retail for around double in Australia compared to the U.S.

I recenlty sold a like new 660 to someone in Australia at very close to retail here...... we were both very happy.

Lots of used saws go there!

Not that much now.As of today AU Dollar was 97 cents to 1 USD.Back in 2007-8 I bought a bunch of antique tools from there,if memory serves the exchange rate was around 75 cents roughly.
