I live in SE Pa. where it was a colder than normal winter. First 2 years I ran an Englander 25 PVC stove with the OAK and used 3 ton of pellets as my main heat for my rancher. This past winter we replaced the Englander with a Harman P43 without the OAK and will be ending up using 3.5 to 4 ton of pellets. Just wondering if it was the colder weather, or the not using the OAK with the Harman or both. Any thoughts? Did you use more pellets this year because of a colder winter?
