Wall Shield Question

Hi-

Quick wall shield question; is it ok to close in the side gap on a wall shield that is spaced 1” off of the wall? Bottom and top are open.

Thanks for any help!
 
Yes. Just the top and bottom need to be open to permit air convection behind the shield.
