I had this stove installed in 2005, so it was built prior to that. It has a 23 foot stove pipe that goes up to and through the ceiling.

I'm trying to get the damper off and replace the gaskets but don't really know how to go about it. I have a pdf that doesn't seem to address that as far as I can tell.

My big question is, "can I get this done without removing the stovepipe"?
