Hi Hive Mind, I'm taking a crash course in stove repair as mine just died during the recent deep freeze. It seems that the thermocoupler needs replacement after my first attempt at voltage reading came up single digits. With the stove apart, I can get the pilot to burn with a match, so the gas seems to be working. What I'm wondering is if anyone can suggest a particular thermocoupler, or ignition assembly for a vermont castings stardance SDV30. Searching keeps showing me a variety of different ones, and I'd just as soon do it right the first time. Thanks for your help. Max

Your stove does not have a thermocouple

You have an old unique control valve with a dual thermopile pilot assembly. Honestly you are probably looking at replacing the valve with a sit820 and replacing the pilot assembly. You may get away with new thermopiles but that valve is on borrowed time.

You can try new thermopiles first but in my experience that valve is most likely bad
