found a wood C450 insert near me for sale, pic of the back shows it was made in 2002. APPEars to be the tamarac version with the double doors

Also appears to include a short liner. Guy is asking $800. All I can find is that there around $2100 new. Anyone have an idea what it should sell for?

I bought a used one for around $500 that a few years back, they are decent inserts. Make sure the baffle is in good condition and plan on replacing the door and window gaskets. Don't bother with that liner as it is not long enough, you will want a full length 6" liner, preferably insulated. Also check to make sure the blower works.

Mine heats my 1600 square foot house well, even with 18foot high ceilings in the great room. I bought mine 2 years ago lightly used for 1k and thought t was a great deal. 800 is very fair. Tamarack surround is awesome. Snatch it up.

Thnks. By door do you mean just the glass or the entire door ?
