Good evening.

We bought a used USSC 6039 pellet/corn stove. We've used it for two years, and admittedly probably need to deep clean it. I recently found the steps that are recommended on here and will do that soon.

Our current problem is we cannot get it to turn on. We recently replaced the circuit board to a 4 button board and replaced the draft fan. Tonight I started a fire, and closed the door. Pushed the on button and nothing. No lights, just nothing. I googled searched and searched on the forum, and found the factory reset. Held the aux buttons for 3 seconds, the board says "bye" and then comes up and says "USSC" then 0C.26 and then goes dark. Tried the power button, nothing. We've check to make sure no fuses are blown on the back of the circuit board (they all seem fine). Looking for some help. We live in a rural area, so we can't exactly call a professional to come out and figure it out.

Thank you

That tells me the board has power, use the wire diagram and insure all components are wired correctly. Was the new board needed or just to get better control. Have you tried the old board to see if it works?

Yes, new board was needed, so we ordered it. That was 2 or 3 months ago. It had the original ABC board. We did try the old board and had the same problem. Nothing happened when the on button was pushed.

I found a key sequence to test the board in one of the forums on here (from Firepot Pete) and it worked and all components worked as we worked through the sequence, but when it was done, again, nothing happened when we pressed power.

The stove was working find until last night, which is why we're so puzzled.

Is it under warrantee?

There is a ribbon cable on the end did it get pinched or broken when installing? It is a membrane pad for momentary switches they don't usually go bad this soon. If the membrane worked for Pete’s test i would think it would work all the time unless a chip on the board was corrupt or not sending signal.

Thank you for your help. I filed a claim with the company I ordered the circuit board from.

Good call! There is something that just isn’t right.
