I have a USSC 5510 that is working great now that I found the info on this site. Two more questions. I have my stove vented directly out the wall with a cap 1 foot from the wall. Burns Clean no black on the house. Once a week it seems, after restarting the stove, it looks like an old steam locomotive coming out the pipe. It is only a 4 ft run to the outside. It's clean, scrubbed and vacuumed. There is sometimes a little smoke in the stove before the flame actually starts but not enough for the choo choo train smoke I am getting. It goes away within a minute or two after starting. Any clues? Also any help on info for cleaning the heat exchanger? Is it just the traps and the fire box and the area above the flame? Thanks in advance.
And one more question, sometimes my pellets burn to a fine almost talcum like powder and sometimes more corse.. same brand and same batch. Just differences in the moisture maybe?
