US Stoves is recalling their window unit pellet stoves due to a fire hazard.

"The internal fire box baffle can degrade, overheat and pose a fire hazard...
Consumers should immediately unplug these units, stop using the product and return the circuit board and serial face plate to the firm for $868 cash or $1,200 credit towards the purchase of any United States Stove Company product. "

We had that posted last year did we not. I dropped off a copy at the local farm store that had been trying to sell them. Could have made some $$$ as they were selling them for $650

Does anyone know if US stoves is also recalling 2400 window/wall units that were sold at Princess Auto under the name Eco Aire? Owen, do you know? Can't seem to find a recall notice at the Canadian recall site. The one on kijiji in Kaministiquia (outside Thunder Bay so rural Fire Dept) is still there. A little worried it will be bought, used and cause a fire.
