Hello

Well since the instructions were of no help again, I vacuumed the stove and removed the fire brick to find the very large ash trap covers. So I removed the one phillip screw and pulled them out and cleaned the traps of pellet ash. Probably never been done but it being 2 months old there were not so dirty.

So to my surprise I see some very thin gaskets on each side ! ! !

Do people re-use them or replace them? Is there better material or is none ok?

Well I can see somewhat of a reason for having them as it stops some of the sideways movement of ash in particular until the gaps get filled and no more airs gets sucked out that way. I'll let you chew on that for a bit.
