Just got my first fire going in my new Timberwolf T25i insert and noticed the blower motor with it even on high (hear running) don't feel any increase of hot air being blown out anywhere like my 40 year old BlackBart did. Is the blower motor suppose to blow hot air out somewhere or does it have a different function with all those air tubes. Thanks!

Edit... Well looks like it's barely blowing some on the top vent. So guess question now is just how strong should it be blowing out? Barely moves a piece of paper on high.

The blower doesn't blow air through the secondary burn tubes in the firebox. That would turn it in to an inferno really fast.

Manufacturer's try to make the blower systems fairly quiet, so the air coming out of the top of the insert is not going to feel like windstorm.

This insert will not run like the BlackBart. Is there a thermometer on the insert front to determine roughly what temperture it is running at?

Thanks for the reply...No thermometer on it but checked it with my Klein thermometer blower motor came on around 360 degrees. Insert heating up great guess just used to my old blackbart blowing hard. There is a slight breeze coming from the vent but barely moves a strand of paper. May call up the place I got it from and see what they say about the amount of flow..really kind of disappointed in it.
