Hi everyone!

Does anyone have some technical data on the Z1714 fan kit for the stoves with the 30 fireboxes?
All I found was this: https://www.blazeking.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/OM-1714_Z2514-Classic-fan-kit.pdf

What I'd like to know:
- voltage/wattage of the fans (120VAC or do they run on a DC power supply?)
- controller type (is it just on/off, or a 2-step switch, or continuously adjustable?)

I'd like to rig up some kind of continuous controller, and maybe integrate it into my smarthome.

Thanks!

A simple smart plug would give you options to set times to turn on and off, or run continuously or whenever you wish. Also remotely control the plug from you smart phone from anywhere. I use one on my fan, it works great. Tracks how many hours the fan has run, daily, weekly and monthly. In addition to how much power the fan has consumed (which isnt much) or is consuming in real time. Ten dollars buys a lot of options. I think almost any name brand would link with a smart home. I use mine with Alexa and google devices in my house. It's simple to say, Alexa, turn on fan.

Thanks, I thought about that, but in the two years since I installed the fan kit (yes, this thread is that old) I found that I hardly have to adjust fan speed ever, and if I do, I mostly adjust the thermostat along with it.
So no real need for automation.
