New to this forum, but have been reading for a while. The level of knowledge contained here is astounding. I just purchased a Surdiac 513 and am really jazzed about heating with coal. I'm new to coal, but have heard that this stove is very effective, albeit somewhat finicky. It was is great shape, until I got hold of it. While moving it, I broke several of the little strips of glass that make up the window. I'm getting the replacement strips today, but would like any insight on how to replace them. I've heard that it's kind of a tricky job. Thanks in advance - any help is really appreciated.
