Hello All,
Out for a spin today in my 2002 Nissan Frontier when my wife and I came across an '09 F-150 with low miles and a lower price--we scooped it up, but now we need a tonneau cover and rubber floor mats, since we loved them in the Nissan. I had the original Truxedo and the new Truxedo TonneauTrax looks nice. My bro's got the Extang Trifecta, but I think I like the ability to roll up all the way.

Suggestions?

No specific recommendations . . . but I like the truck. Very sharp.

I'm lookin myself... actually at the Extang trifecta because I dont like to roll the things up I'd rather just fold and be done with it. Plus it goes on and off so fast and doesnt leave anything behind when you have it folded up or removed. And you can get it in the 'signature fabric' which will look nicer on a black truck (mine is too) and last longer. If you want roll up capability you could look at the Fulltilt, which tilts up for quick access like a hard tonneau, but can also roll up. I've heard great things about Truxedo as well. Good luck with your search, I been debating now for over a year!
 
Nice truck. I had the Torza Top on my '04 before getting a cap. Three of us bought them at work. If I had to do it again, I'd get another Torza in a heartbeat. On and off in seconds.

I have a 2011 F350 and I purchased rubber floor mats from Husky Liners. They fit great and the rubber is nice and thick. I also purchased mud flaps from them that fit the truck great. http://www.huskyliners.com/
 
For mats I vote Weathertech. I have used both Husky and Weathertech and far prefer the fit and material of them.

Cant suggest a cover. My Ram SRT has a one piece aluminum cover and its a PITA if you ever want to carry anything..but it is 500 HP so there is a give and take...... ;)

Nice Truck..I am sure the Nissan fared well over its lifetime. I think they do not get the recognition they deserve for pickups.
 
I use the weathertech floor mats and mud flaps, they have a great fit. I'm pretty sure my tonneau cover is made by extang, it's a soft cover but the whole frame pivots at the headboard of the bed so access to the bed is pretty good. The unit has gas struts to keep the cover raised, I got it from summit racing for around $350

As for cover: I like Truxedo. I find a roll-up cover to be the most practical. I can go from covered and weather proof to a wide open bed in about 30 seconds. Adjustable tension means it goes on in the coldest winter. I have had mine 4 years and can't imagine a truck without one. Easily the best money spent.

I have the Extang Full Tilt on my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 and really like it. It can tilted up for access, rolled up, or the entire thing removed and only takes 1 person.
 
I've got an '09 F-150. Great truck. I have cheapo floor mats but a nice tonneau. I highly recommend the "undercover". It is solid, easy to remove, and price competitively.

Look on some of the F-150 forums.
 
We recently bought a low-mileage 2010, 6-cylinder F150 XLT (SuperCrew) in order to get better snow access to our new home in the Idaho Rocky Mountains and have also been looking for tonneau covers.

So far, the F150 has done better than we hoped in getting us up to the house in fairly deep snow, certainly in comparison to our beloved Hyundai Santa Fe AWD. In fact, I haven't even broken out the new chains yet (because, as I get older, I try to avoid having to put on chains and then take them off again like the plague).

One thing we do miss, though is the ability to camp out in our car as we make long trips to Canada or the West Coast. Believe it or not, with the back chairs flipped down, the Santa Fe did have enough space to put an entire queen-size futon mattress in! So now we are starting to look for a camper top instead of a tonneau cover.

Even though the 5.5. foot cab is too short to sleep in and I will still have to work out a way to put a sleeping platform into the crew cab (preferably while leaving the driver's seat untouched), it would be nice to crawl through the back window and into the camper top truck bed compartment for additional seating and brewing a cup of coffee.

If anyone is aware of someone having DIY or commercial hard-top camping facilities for the F150 crew cab with 5.5. ft truck bed, please let me know.

I have an Extang snapless toneau and Huskyliners in my duramax. I always put the huskyliners in what I drive. I used to put them in my wifes vehicles too but her heels seem to wear thru them and leak. So no point in doin that any more. Just my .02
 
wow! what dealership around here right now doesn't have piles of snow around everywhere? must be an older pic of the truck

I have a "modified" on on the 01 Ram - needed to "customize" (shorten) for the bed box. Had one of the local marine tailors cut it and put new snaps on the back half. Works great, for what I had to do to it, it's rather weather tight (between the bulge in the box between the cab-end of the bed and the cover [ too much #^$@ in the box])
 
I just have a lowly Lund so not in the league of the rest of the posters but it works fine and can go from covered to open in less than 30 seconds.
 
x2 for weathertechs. I buy a set for every new truck I own. I take the factory mats out and replace when I sell the truck. The weathertechs are pricey but keep the carpet looking brand new.
 
OK, picked up Weathertech window deflectors (any ideas on how to get their ugly stickers off?!), Weathertech mats (all-weather), and ordered the Truxedo TonneauTrax. I had the same deflectors on my Frontier, I didn't need the 'digital fit' mats because the whole floor is vinyl (have you seen these?), and the tonneau incorporates tie-downs which will be good because the truck's so much higher than my Frontier.

I installed the bakflip F1 tonneau cover on my 2008 full size Silverado and love it. It has four hard pannels that can be flipped towards the front of the bed allowing secure storage with the flexability of hauling larger items by securing the flipped up pannels against the cab window. I have had it for two years and have had no issues. Do not expect it to be 100% waterproof though.
