why oh why did quadrafire set up the oak intake like they did on the freestanding castile? here's the description- there is a 2" hole on the bottom of the stove facing the floor. you need an adaptor that screws to the bottom and that goes to a 2" connector that is on the back of the stove for the oak tubing.
why not just put a 2" connector on the back of the stove? or include the adapter with the stove? or just weld it onto the stove?
and why is the thing only available from quadrafire, as part of an oak kit? for the cost of $145 not available separately! special order only from any local dealers, maybe!
this thing better make my house as warm as the bowels of hell when i get it (whenever it does come in, back order blah blah).
is any other stove this asinine with the oak?
