Still debating on a new stove, and I'll probably make another post asking for some more advice there, but right now I have just a few in mind, quad, alderlea, and jotul namely. I hate asking this kind of question but I have a lot of spring projects planned and have some extra cash from taxes, bonuses, etc, but still not enough to do everything I plan this spring.
I have been in touch with 4 local dealers in about a 60-100 mile range. They are all charging MSRP for the stoves I am looking at. I know folks have gotten deals from time to time, and was hoping for some 'end of season' discounts, even 10% is significant when your talking 2-3 grand. (yeah I know there is the tax credit plus quad has a small manufacturers rebate right now - one reason I am even considering buying right now).
I just cant believe every dealer here is selling at full MSRP. A couple dont stock a lot of stoves and want to charge shipping on top of that.
Does anyone know of any dealer around Ohio or maybe even north/western PA that is offering any kind of sale and the 3 brands I am looking at?
