When figuring your clearances for single wall stove pipe, what is considered a non-combustible surface? Is a 2x4 wall covered in concrete board considered a non combustible surface?
 
I believe the cement board would have to be on 1" spacers from the wall for it to be considered non combustable, but not positive.
