Stainless Steel Burn Pot Quadrafire Outfitter II?

Good morning,

I was looking for pros and cons in purchasing a stainless steel burn pot for my Quadrafire Outfitter II? I have seen stainless steel pots in the $70-75 range and the OEM pot for $150-250.

In reading reviews some state the stainless steel pot does not transfer heat as well and the burn is not as efficient.

From my experience it doesn’t make a significant difference. SS may last a lil longer. Your fire is what creates the heat not the pot.
