New to Pellet Stoves; I just picked up a used St. Croix, Model #WH000889, mfd. by Eventemp, inc., in 10/2001. The exhaust fan is not working and I noticed that the RED wire is not connected to anything. I searched and can't seem to find anyplace for it to attach. Any suggestion? Where can I get a Service Manual? Wiring Diagrams, etc.

Thanks, Don

Hey Don,

Check this link

(broken link removed to http://www.eventempinc.com/stcroix/downloads/downloads.html)

Select your control panel, and Look at the manuals. There are wiring diagrams in the manuals.

Hope you figure it out!

Thanks, Jay; I had looked at that site, but didn't see what I needed. I checked after your suggestion and I found some info which may prove to be helpful, about half way through the text.

Thanks. Don

Hi Dan
I have the manual for that stove. Let me know where the red wire is and I will look it up for you

Earth Sense in Wisconsin will have any parts you need in stock... www.pellethead.com .

CLEAN that stove throughly (see the leafblower trick posts) and the St. Croix will give you years of service.

Hi scotmick,
I have the St. Croix Hastings Model. As for the wire, if it's the one in the wiring harness where the black and white wires are that go to the exhaust motor, that wire doesn't go to anything. It's just tied up to the harness. If you look through the manual that you were pointed to, it'll say that in there somewhere (I remember finding once).
Since you are in NY state, I can tell you that I get my parts from a 'store' in Hudson NY. I don't have their name and address here with me (currently at work), but if you need it I'll try to get it tonight and post it tomorrow.
And yes...I confirm that you'll need to thoroughly clean it for good performance!
Good Luck!
