what?
Last year I installed a Drolet Eco-45 that I am happy with, except it smokes a bit. Nothing major but when you come in from fresh outside air you can detect the smell of smoke. Also at night if you turn on a high intensity LED flashlight or laser pointer you can clearly see there is a fine amount smoke all throughout the house.

I bought the stove second-hand, but it had never been installed or used before. I also installed it with a SuperVent PL-PPK 3" vent kit.

Is this normal?

If not any advice on stopping or preventing the smoke?

Did you seal all the joints on the exhaust vent pipe? High temp silicone sealant, tape?
