Alright you wood guys, question for you. It's been a while since I've been over here, heck since Craig made us pellets guy our own room I've pretty much hung out there. So I've got the pellet stove in the basement, and a NG furnance just in case, I'm thinking I need a wood stove too just because guy can't have too many backups, correct? Anyway, the house has a three season porch, insulated and ducted to the FA but closed off, glass doors to the kitchen and outside door to the deck and backyard. Back when I made the pellet decision, part of the reason was the cost of vent from the basement up 30' or so. Now I'm thinking a small wood stove on the porch may be nice, not for full time use but maybe during the weekends so we can sit out there and have morning coffee and such. Note this is a stub out porch so little vent needed, porch is around 12x14' or so, would obviously burn with the door to the kitchen open. So any thoughts at all? I know some electric baseboard would fit the ticket too, but I like to burn! Maybe one of those wood stove hot tub combos? Thanks. CZ.
