Slight smoke odor

That I am now noticing. Straight run pipe up through the ceiling and through the roof. Back drafting is not an issue.

I do know that one section of pipe is not secured one joint with screws. 3 short sheet metal screws to help solve this? And I was reading also about using sealant on joints as well? Just use the high temp RTV auto sealants?

Double wall pipe by the way.

I don't think double wall needs to be sealed (correct me if I'm wrong) its the inner pipe that connects to the flue. There are gaps in my DVL adjustable pieces see here Pic # 19. I don't like the looks but was told as long there is a 2" overlap all is good.
